Arriving by train
On arrival at Bern Station, take tram no. 9 in the direction of "Guisanplatz". Get off 5 minutes later at the "Kursaal" tram stop.
The Kursaal Bern is very conveniently located and has its own tram stop. We recommend use of the city's excellent public transport system. Trams operate between Bern Station and the "Kursaal" stop in both directions at approximately 10-minute intervals.

The service operates seven days a week from early morning until just past midnight.The tram journey takes only five minutes. Bern Station is linked to the extensive Swiss and European railway networks.
Arriving by car
Motorway congestion
Please note that - starting in March 2010 - reconstruction work is taking place in Bern on the motorway stretch between Weyermannshaus and Wankdorf, in the direction of Zurich. This work will take two years to complete and, as a result, traffic congestion will occur at certain times. Arriving by air
An airport bus service operates between Bern Airport and Bern Railway Station (duration 22 minutes).
Guests arriving at EuroAirport Basel should take the airport bus to Basel Railway Station (duration 20 minutes), and from there the train to Bern (duration between 55 minutes and 1 hour 18 minutes, depending on connection)
A frequent and regular rail service operates from Zurich Airport to Bern (duration between 1 hour 14 minutes and 1 hour 38 minutes, depending on connection)
A frequent and regular rail service also operates from Geneva Airport to Bern (duration between 1 hour 50 minutes and 2 hours 1 minute, depending on connection)
