The Meridiano is renowned far beyond the borders of Bern for its welcoming hospitality. And for its innovative cuisine - prepared to perfection by our Chef de Cuisine Markus Arnold and his team. The restaurant has been awarded 17 Gault Millau points and one MICHELIN star, testifying to the Meridiano's superior standards of service and gastronomy. Dishes of distinction are enhanced by the restaurant's refined and elegant interior. Guests are also offered fine views extending over Switzerland's captivating capital to the surrounding scenic countryside
Markus Arnold describes his culinary style as "light contemporary cuisine of the highest quality, created exclusively from market-fresh ingredients of the finest quality. Authentic aromas and products of purity are my paramount priority." Read more about Markus Arnold.
Manager Christian Grimm extends the warmest of welcomes to his guests. As an experienced table stylist, he adds his own individual touch to the unique ambience and magic of the Meridiano. For both Grimm and Arnold, a visit to a restaurant should be an all-embracing experience – pleasures for the palate, a feast for the eyes. In fact, seduction of all the senses.
